This historic restaurant in Ybor City has served traditional hispanic food since 1905. Homed in one of the most beautifully mosaiced buildings of Tampa, Columbia is the world's largest Spanish restaurant and the state's oldest. Flamenco dancers perform twice a night, and jazz musicians perform as well. This place is always uber-busy, so make sure and call ahead for reservations. It's well worth the small hassle. There's also a few other branches of the restaurant: St. Pete, Clearwater Beach, Sarasota, St. Augustine, and Celebration.

There's nothing I enjoy more than good Spanish food and wine, watching sexy dancing and listening to good music. It almost makes me feel like I'm back in Iberia living the carefree life.

Favorite Dish: red snapper "alicante"
