Pelhrimov / Pilgram is a good excample of an interesting town, not to be found in many guide-books and still interesting in many ways:
I found it accidentally, when a deviation forced me to side-roads and I was searching for a place to safely park my motorhome and spend the night.
On main square you will see plenty of great buildings dating back to the Renaissance and Baroque.
2 of the medieval towngates are still to be seen and the former castle is a museum now.
On the church-clock, shown in the centre of my self-made-postcard, the 2 men will hit the bell each quater of the hour.
On mainsquare you will find an excellent and still really cheap bakery !
You may take the train in order to get to Pelhrimov / Pilgram or you drive road # 34 / E 551
