Namest nad Oslavou / Namiest an der Olsawa is a small town 15km east of Brno / Brünn.
It is mainly well known for its renaissance-castle , dating back to 1565.
That castle is surrounded by terrace-gardens and inside the castle you may see 24 precious gobelins dating back to the 16th till 19th century.
When visiting the castle, don't miss the famous library and the armouries-chamber.
Down in the village the main attraction is a bridge over the river Oslawa with 20 baroque sculptures, and just opposite of the bridge a lovely storks nest high on top of a chimney.
