"A Nice Hotel in a Nice Location" Hay Adams Hotel Tip by luxhotels4me

Hay Adams Hotel, Washington D.C.: 1,089 reviews and 5 photos

We had a wonderful stay at the Hay-Adams hotel. Normally we stay at the Willard-Intercontinental, however this time we tried the Hay-Adams and we're glad we did. Be sure to spend the extra for a room with a nice view, it's worth the extra money. We had all of our meals at the Lafayette Room, all of which were fabulous (you must try the Eggs Benedict!) There are a few homeless people outside near the hotel, fortunately they didn't come near or bother us when we were there so I doubt they cause much trouble. Our room rate wasn't that bad either, only about $500 per night for a room with a wonderful view, which is also less than we payed for a comparable room at the W-I. Other people have some bad reviews on the Hay-Adams, most of whom have not even stayed there to experience it for themselves.
