The Dziesieciolecia Stadium (10th Anniversary Stadium) was bulit in 1955 for a project of an "Olympic Stadium for the city of Warsaw". It has a capacity of 71.000, but often housed more than 100 000 spectators.

Due to its poor condition the stadium was abandoned in 1983 and used for non-sports events. Nowadays, the area around the stadium is home to one of the largest flea markets in Europe.

Directions:
The Dziesieciolecia Stadium is located near the Poniatowski bridge in the Praga district of Warsaw.

*** Update Spring 2010: ***
In 1998 the Stadium Dziesieciolecia was demolished to make space for the construction of the new National Stadium for the EURO 2012.
