Around the Hall of Supreme Harmony you can see a high number of bronze incense burners (you can see a picture of such an incense burner in my Beijing Views Travelogue). In fact there are eighteen of these incense burners and they represent the princes of the Imperial China.

Beside these incense burners you also can see big copper barrels, these barrels were filled with water, and were there to extinguish an occasional fire.
