Isla de Tenerife Off The Beaten Path: 71 reviews and 95 photos
This was one of the things that caught my attention when I should have been looking at the Piramides de Guimar.
The Piramides de Guimar site actually has some very nice gardens around it with well labelled plants (so you actually know what you are looking at). They seem to specialise in plants native to the Canary Islands.
Having said all of that, I cannot actually remember what this flower actually is! There were lots of bees flying around them, and they seemed to have orange bits attached to their legs (no, it wasn't pollen, it was actually part of the bee - you can see them in this photo).
