"Colosseo" Colosseum Tip by TimDaoust

Colosseum, Rome: 492 reviews and 920 photos

by TimDaoust

This is a definite must see. Out of all of the ruins we saw on our tour of Rome, this is the only one that really meant a whole lot to me and unfortunately we had little time. Apparently the people who organized this tour, I'll not mention and company names, thought it more important for us to follow a short Italian lady, waving a yellow fan so we wouldn't lose her, around the other historic sites than it was for us to spend a decent amount of time in the colosseo, the most famous of all sites. They gave us the option of taking ten minutes while we waited for the rest of the group to run through taking photos at an alarming rate. I didn't take any of these photos as my other friends had cameras with them but I did try my best to take everything in. Needless to say, it's on the list of return journeys from this tour.
