  Ruins of St. Margaret's Church

This place has the same feel as Central Park in NYC. It is an oasis of quiet and solitude amongst a bustling city.

I took the bus to it from the hotel and then rented a golf cart to cruise around in. The transaction was very painless and I cruised in luxury. There is a zoo, park, bike paths and thr ruins of St. Margaret's Church. They are several hundred years old and are a very contemplative spot to rest.

I saw lovers walking hand in hand, children playing, adults sitting and conversing and kids on mountain bikes in the ruins. It is a must see place for a litlle peace and quiet.

Address: 1138 Budapest, Margitsziget
Directions: Bus No. 26 (from Nyugati pu.) serves the whole island and trams 4 and 6 stop at the entrance bridge (stop "Margitsziget").
