"Bethesda Fountain and Terrace" Central Park - Bethesda Fountain Tip by SnoopySue
Central Park - Bethesda Fountain, New York City: 17 reviews and 36 photos
This beautiful fountain is located in the middle of the Central Park, just between the Lake and the Mall. The Statue, Angel of the Waters, marked the opening of the Croton Aqueduct system in 1842, bringing the city its first supply of pure water. Nice place to just take a rest and enjoy the day. Try excellent hot dog or pretzels sold nearby.
