"Empire-Fulton Ferry State Park" Empire-Fulton Ferry State Park Tip by Dutchnatasja

Empire-Fulton Ferry State Park is a waterfront park established in 1978 by Governor Carey, along the East River in Brooklyn located between the historic Manhattan and Brooklyn Bridges. With its sprawling lawn and riverfront boardwalk, Empire Fulton Ferry provides visitors the perfect place to view the skyline of Lower Manhattan, picnic, stroll, view the ships and enjoy the sun. The park is a popular site for photography with its spectacular view of the bridges and lower Manhattan.

Incredible how only a few people know about it. We were there last December and we were the only one there. So quiet, so perfect for taking pictures.

Directions:
Take the F train to York Street. Walk down York or walk down Washington 'til you get the waterfront.
