"Musee du Louvre, symbol of Western Civilization" Louvre Tip by KituAdventures

Louvre, Paris: 796 reviews and 1,585 photos

Everyone goes to the Louvre, and for good reason. It's an enormous treasure trove of art and antiquities, you could spend your life there. Of all the art galleries I've seen, the Louvre has to be the one that sustains interest the longest, thanks to the huge variety of works to see. Artworks I particuarly loved include Ingres' La Grade Odialisque, Fragonard's The Bolt, da Vinci's La Belle Ferroniere, Georges de la Tour's Pentitent Magdalene, Vermeer's The Astronomer and Titian's Madonna of the Rabbit.
