This is a great place to just hang out and people watch. Tourists and struggling artists are all over the place.

Built over the ruins of the 1st century AD Stadium of Domitian, Piazza Navona (Circo Agonale) contains sculptural and architectural gems by Bernini with the Fountain of the Four Rivers forming the base of the Egyptian obelisk in the center and Borromini with the Church of Sant'Agnese in Agone.

Address: Piazza Navona
Directions: Metro: Spagna
Bus: 70, 81, 87, 90, 186, 492 to Corsa del Rinascimento or 46, 62, 64 to Corsa Vitorio Emanuelle II
