RICE: "a yummy bowl of delicious food" YN Tip by Beth75NJ

YN, New York City: 2 reviews and 0 photos

Rice, as the name tells ya, the menu has several different types of rice (my favorite is the black rice) and loads of different add ins.

It is another tiny place, again, you could miss it if you're not careful! The place is narrow with one row of tables. Not good for groups. Ideal for 4 people or less. It is low light and romantic. Quiet and good for conversations. The tables are very close together though so don't expect privacy.

Favorite Dish: how to choose?! My sister (my favorite nyc dinner partner) and I got the spicey shrimp and the (another dish) carrot and spinach balls over black rice.

HEAVEN! eating with the soupy shrimp with chopsticks was a challenge but if you put lots of rice it helps sop up the yummy sauce so you can get it all in. :)
everything I've had there has been amazing! they have vegetarian options as well as seafood, chicken and meat too.

They offer 6 different sauces to add to your selections.

They have loads of different types of tea.

The rice pudding and the warm pears are heaven for dessert if you have room!

The food is asian flare.

the sauces are all killer and the desserts are phenomenal!
