Driving along Jalan Sulaimani, you will pass the Main Cukai Wet Market on your left and next up is the Cukai Riverfront. It is a nice spot to park your car, relax and take some photos. There is an open-air car park, a taxi rental service and a small jetty for disembarkation from passenger boats (see pics).
When I was there, I saw old men seated by the pier, idly chatting and smoking, and young teen girls on bicycles stopping for a short break.

If you like, you may leave your car there, cross the road and enjoy some great seafood at Restaurant Tong Juan or Restaurant Malaysia.
