Unlike the drunken English, the French have a far more civilized approach to drinking their bière. If you expect to drink German litres or British pints you will have a big bill at the nd of the evening!

Recently I discovered the galopin, which is a tiny measure of beer - 12.5cl (1/8 of a litre). This is perfect for a quick refreshment stop at a bar! It is also less expensive, of course. And very cute :-)

Try and ask for a galopin next time you feel like a quick drink.
