-- so says the website and that's exactly what it does. Spread over 5 buildings there's a fine display of of planes, cars, trains, engines charting the history of science and industry in the Manchester region.
Dating back to 1830, the Passenger Station is the world's oldest surviving passenger train station.
The Museum is open from 10am - 5pm every day, except 24, 25, 26 December.
Entrance is free except for special, changing exhibitions.
