This old house which is set on extensive gardens, belonged to the Samson family who claimed to have to have the oldest family business in Australia. It was designed by Sir Joseph Talbot Hobbs who also designed Scots Church in Fremantle. The house which has been beautifully restored, displays period furniture, giving an insight into the life of what was one of Fremantle?s most prominent families. Open to the public from 1.00pm ? 5.00pm Thursdays and Sundays. You can take a guided tour which lasts around 45 mins.
