"Easy to reach from everywhere" Vienna Transportation Tip by Anjutka

Vienna Transportation: 535 reviews and 736 photos

Vienna is easily reached by train and plane. There are also a growing number of budget carriers flying to Vienna, check their websites. Long distance trains mostly arrive at Westbahnhof (even if coming from some eastern countries like Hungary or Romania), trains from Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Slovenia, Croatia and some others arrive on Suedbahnhof. This station has the disadvantage not to be directly connected with the Underground wjhile Westbahnhof is directly reached by U3 and U6. Westbahnhof is connected with Suedbahnhof via tram 18.
