"Ferry" Rügen Transportation Tip by antistar

Rügen Transportation: 14 reviews and 16 photos

Being in the Baltic sea, close to Germany's Scandinavian neighbours of Sweden and Denmark, Ruegen has regular and good value international ferry services. The two main services are run by Scandlines, from Ronne in Denmark, a Danish island off the south coast of Sweden, and Trelleborg in the Swedish region of Skane, just south of Malmo. The Ronne route doesn't operate during winter, but the Trelleborg route operates a reduced service. There are also ferry services to and from the island to Stralsund, and the little islands of Hiddensee and Vilm.
