"Luxor, Tomb of Ay (Valley of the Kings)" Egypt Things to Do Tip by Joenes
Egypt Things to Do: 1,687 reviews and 2,532 photos
This is a very special tomb and not many tours tell you the story or even include it in the tour!
Farao Toetanchamon died at a very young age and the Tomb for him wasn't ready yet so they put him in a smaller room in the Valley of the Kings.
This tomb has exactly the same wallpaintings as the famous tomb in the valley.
There are rumours the High Priest Ay killed Toetanchamon to become Farao himself .
He was buried here after a 2-year reign as a Farao.
Address: Valley of the Kings
Directions: Just before you enter don't go on the little trains but go to the right where a road through beautiful surroundings will lead you to the tomb of Ay.
