<b>CLIFFS OF MOHER, Co. Clare in 2001</b>

Due to the <b>foot and mouth scare</b> we were not allowed to walk along the cliffs, tourists were just chased up to the tower, to the visitors centre and that's it. There's no place where we could lie down and have a scared look :-(

Of course the cliffs still are impressive but I found it really sad not to be able to walk along those cliffs which always were on my 'To go before I'm grey and old list' (See my Europe page).

I wonder whether they let cattle or sheep close to the cliffs, anyway. I think they'd definitely not get F&M, they'd die because of falling off the cliff! ;-)
