"The brigand's cave" Baile Herculane Things to Do Tip by Mique

I wanted to see the roman baths in hotel Roman but since they were in use i asked if there was something i could do in the meantime. I didn't feel like sitting and just waiting in a hotel lobby. So they told me i could visit this cave. It is just behind Hotel Roman with a path a few meters after the hotel (from Biale Herculane). It isn't a very long way to get here but the steps can be a bit tricky. As with so many things in romania they're not very well taken care of and can be full with rubble.

In times gone by, brigand's would use this cave to hide and watch their quarry passing. Now it is a place for tourists to visit and the local youth to hang out.
