The Hard Rock Hotel: "Not made to feel welcome" Bali Hotel Tip by easyoar

The Hard Rock Hotel in Bali does not go out of its way to make you feel welcome. You are very obviously staying inside a formula that is solely geared at making money, and you are just a number within that formula. The place is full of shops and they even have a price list for the items in your room, in case you 'accidentally' pack one...

All rooms are themed, but the theming is attrocious. from memory we stayed in a Reggae Themed Room, and theming in this case meant hanging a photo of Bob Marley on the wall!

The swimming pool however is huge, and nice to swim/lounge about in.

We spent most of the holiday in Ubud, which was great, but decided to stay near the airport for our last night, and the HR Hotel was a definite let down.

Unique Qualities: Errr, Great Pool
