Halfway between Nailsea and Backwell, next to the railway station, is the lake, a large public recreational area.

The lake is desgnated a wildlife area, and is home to many swans, geese, duck and other waterfowl. Many families come here to feed the birds, which have become quite tame.

There is a small car park here, but it does become quite full during the week, when it acts as an unofficial station overflow car park.

Address: Staion Road
Directions: Right next to the station car park - you can't miss it!
