Favorite thing: On arriving in Cooperstown, I happened by chance to come across their Visitor Information Building (Chamber of Commerce) located on Chestnut Street (Highway 80) near the centre of town.

Since I was a bit early to check into the Resort and had no information whatsoever on the town, I decided to see what help was at hand! The lady staffing the front desk was very helpful, quickly pulling out a map of the town to show me where both the Resort and the local attractions were located. They even had a big parking lot out the back that she recommended I use to avoid the hassles of parking along the streets.

Fondest memory: Armed with my fist full of information, I headed off on foot to kill a few hours before checking in at the Resort.
