If you want to go for a nice walk along the north sea I'd recommend going to Cuxhaven. Take a bus to 'Duhnen' which is a seaside touristy suburb. From there you can walk a few kilometres to Cuxhaven.
Many big ships pass by because Cuxhaven is the place where the river Elbe ends in the North Sea. So you see many ships going to and coming from Hamburg port. The width of the Elbe is 15 kms here so it looks like the sea actually.

Address: West of Hamburg, north of Bremen.
