  Banana-Creole cream cheesecake

Faux exposed brick walls, inverted Taittinger bottles used as chandeliers, window boxes with white orchids. Very proper service. The hostess was quite friendly, as were the service people in the hotel. Proper attire is requested, and cell phone usage is discouraged.

Favorite Dish: My choices were the shrimp & mirliton Napoleon with remoulade sauce; the Kobe beef meatloaf, and the Banana-Creole cream cheesecake. The Kobe beef meatloaf, though good, was too heavy. The other two dishes were good, though not incredible.
