The Common Room Kitchen Bar is a classy looking gastro pub located just near Ealing Common, in West London.

It is in my local neighbourhood, though it had been open for close to a year before we noticed it recently.

Early one evening, after an annoying day at work, we decided to stop off for a couple of drinks and ended up staying for dinner too.

This is a great looking space - clean, modern - with really friendly service (from a fellow Aussie!!).

Menu had an eclectic mix and there were plenty of wines by the glass to keep us happy.

Favorite Dish: We had an early dinner here and both enjoyed the duck chasseur served with creamy mash.

Alex started the night with the best vodka martini he had tasted in ages, and I enjoyed a particularly delicious Australian Shiraz.
