Barcelo Santiago: "Best view on the Island" Isla de Tenerife Hotel Tip by Kushelkitten

This is probably one of the nicest, if not THE nicest hotel I have stayed in during my travels. Its rated 4 stars and I would have to agree. Usually I dont and give fewer stars than what the guide books say.

The staff is friendly, if you go all inclusive like I did (I wanted a simple uncomplicated vacation) the staff learns your room number so you dont have to flash your bracelet constantly.
Very clean, nothing at all to complain about.

If you do want to party this isnt the hotel or the town for that. Go down the road to Playa Los Americas.

Unique Qualities: This is a lovely hotel in Puerto Santiago. Three pools with a gorgeous view of La Gomera and the cliffs of Los Gigantos. On a clear day you can see the peak of Teide from the pool area. All rooms have a view of the ocean. Clean, great service and well worth the money.
