I have not stayed in this hotel, which is also a time-share. We dropped some folks off here after one of the tours we took, and I was offered this hotel as an alternate to a reservation I made in Mississippi but I didn't particularly want to stay in New Orleans post-Katrina.

POST KATRINA NOTE: This hotel is open and accepting reservations. They have not reduced their rates but there are a limited number of weeks available for sale -- Foreclosures with prices as low as $4,900.

Unique Qualities: They are no longer advertising an internet rate of less than $100/night for 3 nights. The least expensive rate for a one bedroom suite is $225/night plus tax. The 1-bedroom suite features 1 full bath and a fully-equipped kitchen -- accommodates up to 4 people. The two bedroom suite with one bath (6 people) is $375/night and with two baths is $300/night.

The website says Each suite has its own completely furnished kitchen, dishes, linens, private Jacuzzi bath or walk-in shower with European shower heads, color television, DVD players, and everything you need to enjoy a relaxing vacation in the French Quarter of New Orleans. Hi-speed wireless internet connections are available in all rooms.

Our guests also enjoy private telephone service, a courtyard swimming pool, maid service, laundry facilities, and concierge services.

To top off your stay with us enjoy a complimentary continental breakfast on Saturday and Sunday mornings, and on Sunday evenings enjoy complimentary wine and cheese ... both served in our lush tropical courtyard..
