It cost just $2 to travel from Singapore to Pulau Ubin, a little green haven off the east coast of the island. No passports needed too. Just drive to Changi Village, head for the jetty and hop unto a bumboat. There are no fixed times for departure. The boatmen will start his engine only when there are enough passengers to fill the small boat. Other than ensuring that you have small change to pay the boatman, carry a bag in case you start puking on the ride. These speed devils love riding the waves and going at breakneck speed.
