by Ewingjr98

Soaring 1453 feet (and 102 stories) into the New York Skyline, the Empire State Building is once again the tallest structure in the city. It towered over downtown Manhattan from its completion in 1932, until the twin towers of the World Trade Center were built in the 1970s.

The tourist observatory on the 86th floor offers panoramic views of the city and surrounding states. Each year about 3.5 million people pay the $12 ($11 for teens and $6 for kids) to visit the observation area.
