Land of tradition and hospitable people Pirenopolis (affectionately nicknamed 'Piri') offers to its tourist many different options for the practing of Sports, adventure and ecoturism. The local tourism is exuberant, protected by the silvester`s life sanctuaries enriched by rivers and amazing waterfalls.

Cavalhadas

Pirenopolis is a town located in the Brazilian state of Goias. It is well-know for its waterfalls and colonial architecture, and a popular festival involving mounted horses called FESTA DO DIVINO ESPIRITO SANTO, which takes place 45 days after Easter.

Parque Estadual dos Pireneus

Pirenopolis is great for nature, swimming and nice restaurants and very easy bus, it has some historical atmosphere and cool down the place. Pirenopolis is wonderful, lot of touristy. There`s a great state park, Parque estadual dos Pireneus, nearby, as well as several even closer nature areas (Vagafogo), wildflowers blooming everywhere.
