Favorite Thing: Visit Spanish Steps

Fondest Memory: I guess the first time I knew it was from the movie 'Holiday in Rome'. I do have bunches of imagination about it...
That day when I strolled in Rome with my friend, I was almost lost. We walked through narrow alleys again and again, - actually I enjoyed experiencing Rome by this way: with no definite destination, just to encounter everything by chance.
It was dusk, we were going along a street and saw the beautiful sunset just performacing on the front end of this road. We started to run and wanted to catch the amazing shot. However, the road seemed too long, also because after one-day walking, my feet were so painful.
I couldn't run fast, just kept going. The sky turned darker little by little.
'Running, hi, don't give up.'my friend encouraged me.
I know many beautiful moments may only come once, you can never expect when to meet them again.
Anyhow we got to highest place of the road before the end of sunset. I realized right that moment I was in Spanish Square!
Lots of people were there enjoying the scene. I leaned by the rail, thinking I might say THANKS to sunset because it waited for me.

Favorite Thing: The Colosseum (More pics are in Travelogue ^^)
Fondest Memory: It's a symbol of Rome. Also it's my first station in Rome. When I got out of the subway station and tried to find its exact location on the map, I suddenly saw it standing before my eyes just on the other side of the street! It's silent, silent as me that moment. Time stops, no, time is frozen in those huge stones. When I go over the steep, dark stairs; when I touch the colums standing there more than one thousand years; when I stared grass waving in the gap of wall... how can I imagine its glorious time? There must have had thousands of people, crowded in it, yielded, emotionally, crazily... However, all secens had disappeared in the wind of time. Only left itself, silently. Is it recalling its glorious past?

Fondest Memory: I knew it long time ago The pattern of the oval square was used or simulated many times in modern architecture design. But it's still out of my expectation.
I sat beside the fountain in the square for a long time, in that hot summer afternoon; I went up and down several times along the front ramp, left-side stairs just to experience the spatial sequence...

Favorite Thing: visit the great museum - Palazzo del Museo Capitolino

Fondest Memory: The museum locates in the Capitoline Hill. Uncounted, marvelous sculptures are shown in the courtyard, corrider, room...I seemed to fall into the river of time, flowing back to ancient Rome...

Favorite Thing: Castel Sant' Angelo(More pics are in Travelogue ^^)
Fondest Memory: It locates on the way to St. Peter Square.
Going into a bronze entrance doors facing this bridge, you will see some steps descend to vestibule and the spiral ramp leading to the sepulchral chamber.
There's a great museum in this castel.

Fondest Memory: I really like these modern-looking, lovely telephone box, especailly in this ancient Rome city. They give so light and bright color on a thick background filled with historic stories. I do appreciate Roman's creation - both before and now.

Fondest Memory: These 'Twin Churches' were designed by Rainaldi in 1660, and completed in 1679 with the help by Bernini and Fontana.
