I have seen Rome uncounted times, in books, movies, TV...even in dreams. I thought I knew her, since my major is architecture, and I did learn a lot. However, I never expected how shocked I was when I got to Rome, when I faced the Colosseum, Roman Forum, Castedl Sant'Angelo...Not just the scale was out of my imagination, but also the time, the changes of history hiden under the skin of bricks, stones... I touched the walls, columns, I went throuth those relics...so hard to express my feeling at that moment. I was so moved... |
