Hai He river and center view

I have been quite some time in China over the years.Tianjin was the first city at the Northern part of China.Unfortunately I lost a lot of fotos due to a computer virus and no backup.Tianjin is/was a very clean city when I have been there.Lot`s of shopping opportunities(as usual in China),nice parks,museums and much to see.Tianjin is also not too far away from Beijing(I went one weekend to Beijing by train and it has been very comfortable and fast to go there)

very European style statuettes on some bridges and parks.I felt sometimes like in Europe.

broad roads.Modern buildings.And stunningly there was no traffic(that was probably the reason why I took this foto:-)))

Pros and Cons

Pros:much to see,very good hotels,clean city,nice walks
Cons:maybe the traffic
In a nutshell:absolutely worth a stay for a couple of days

Enjoyed your Tianjin page. I was there on a day trip from Beijing by the express train. Tianjin Pizza hut! Try the "gou bu li"dumpling, if there is a next time, LOL. SL
