Weissenbach was first named/founded at AD1145.At the present time approx.1000people are living here.The village is at a sealevel of 645m.It is a very peaceful,relaxing town;very close to forests and mountains.A former farmer village it is now a town for everyone,charming with the old farmhouses downtown.Lots of activities are possible such as hiking,climbing,skiing,golfing,swimming(there is a lake too).Simply pleasureful to enjoy the nature.The most precious value is the clear water from the mountains which become more and more valueable. |

One cannot ever understand such things, even (I suspect) if one lived through them. One can only study them and, hopefully, learn from them. This is why I love history and archaeology; they teach me so much. J |
