When I arrived first time at Addis I was scared by the scenery.I have been there almost half a year.The first 2 weeks I did not leave the hotel because everybody kept telling me how dangerous it is....Well,luckily I tried more and more to go out.During daylight there is absolutely no danger to go out.At night time avoid certain areas and be alert like at any other big city.I have only the best memories of Ethiopia and Addis.I have met most wonderful people there. |

I wld love to visit and see these places but they still scare me too...!hope to get to Burundi in April.Hi again - now we are told if going to Burundi its via Addis - with 1 nt there on the way back...yay!will be a rushed early am daylight session for me. |
