"Pistyll Rhaeadr" Llanrhaiadr-yn-Mochnant by Andrew_W_K

One of the 7 wonders of Wales

The Pistyll Rhaeadr (pronounced pistol ryder) waterfalls are about 3 miles west of Llanrhaeadr ym Mochnant down a very narrow lane where you'll be lucky to hit third gear. Bear with it though as eventually you will come to one of the so called seven wonders of Wales when you reach the falls. The longest waterfall in England & Wales and some 60 feet higher than Niagra they make a spectacular sight as they cascade down the rock face.
There is a path that takes you to the top of the falls so you get a chance to see it from both ends but to be honest the view from the bottom is the best.
