Strasbourg Travel Guide: 826 reviews and 2,339 photos
It's a long time since I was there but I remember being hugely impressed by the area around the canals and by the magnificent cathedral. The town seemed to be full of US servicemen from the army camps over the border in Germany. To be honest Strasbourg just didn't feel French to me. It felt more German and I know the area has "changed hands" a few times over the years. In the end I guess it doesn't really matter where the border is - we're all EU citizens now!
