The city is full of people. Walking, sitting, begging or driving. Addis is full of life. I found out that Addis Ababa is prounouced Addis Abeba and means New Flower in Amharic.
Almost all signs in this Capital is both in Amharic and English. People are friendly and helpful.

| | Country side If you drive just half an hour out of Addis this is what you can see. I loved that part of Ethiopia. Like time stood still. Farmers working the soil while deep blue birds followed. Huts and children playing. Outside a woman sorting out seeds on a blanket. |
