This is probably the most worthwhile thing in Oberhausen. Photographs don't do it justice. It is a gigantic 100 meter tall gas silo, and has the most amazing acoustics.

Take the lift to the top and feel the vertigo. Has a nice view of the shopping mall, if you are so inclined.

This is a view of the most famous building in Oberhausen, and the reason why so many Dutch people go there, CentrO.

For some inexplicable reason, this shopping mall is hailed as the best thing since sliced bread.

In actuality, anyone who has been to an average American suburb will be overcome by deja vu.

Cons:It can be rather dreary when it rains, which it usually does

Hi, did you also take the elevator in the inside the Gasometer with its glas window? When I was there, the balloon was inside, which surrounded the earth nonstop. It was amazing. Take care, Christian.
