From the Jardin des Tuilleries to the Parc du Camps de Mars amidst the Eiffel Tower, Paris offers so many marvelous parks in which to run. Not to mention scenic routes along the banks of the Seine or near it allow you the opportunity to get your cardio in while absorbing the sights and sounds. (The length of the Seine through Paris: 13 km.) You won't be alone as in my last visit it seemed as if everywhere I turned - morning, noon, or night - there was somebody burning off the baguette they had for lunch. So squeeze those running shoes in the remaining space of your suit case and run with Paris.
Equipment: Running shoes. Cold weather gear for the season.

ExGuyParis Thu Jun 19, 2008 17:25 UTC I'm always pleased when I hear that Paris has wooed and won over another! I like your slant on my favorite city. | BeatChick Sun May 18, 2008 15:21 UTC "Massive, robust, artful" - I like the way you describe the Arc! Berthillon, mon ami, is a *necessary* evil. ;D | mircaskirca Wed Apr 30, 2008 10:24 UTC I enjoyed your culinary journey! Ahhh, Berillon... My friends brought me there too - but what a pity that was only on my last day :) | Hopkid Tue Apr 29, 2008 12:05 UTC Thanks for visiting my Granada page. You'll love it! Say, is Chez Denise the place Bourdain went on his show where they specialize in traditional country fare? |
