Moderne Saint Germain Hotel: Location, location, location. Moderne Saint Germain Hotel Review

We arrived Paris via train from Madrid early in the morning - well before the listed check-in time. The hotel staff was accommodating in that they allowed us to leave our luggage in their storage area as they prepared our room while we had breakfast. The staff was friendly, efficient and warm.

The rooms were of average size by European standards with all the necessary amenities. Free wifi was available as well as a computer in the lobby for those who don't travel with portable computers. We didn't partake in the hotel's breakfast because we decided to take advantage of all that the quarter had to offer. I recommend you do the same.

The hotel does not have a gym but the manager will give you a pass at one of their sister hotels.

Unique Qualities: Located in the heart of the Latin Quarter and Saint-Germain des Pres, the hotel is surrounded by countless eateries: cafes, brasseries, creperies. It's a five minute walk from the Seine and the Notre Dame. Centrally located.
