The woods are lovely, dark and deep, But I have promises to keep, And miles to go before I sleep, And miles to go before I sleep.

My current project 08/04/27 I'm currently spending my time creating my New Orleans page. I've lived there and have returned several times since Katrina. I hope to share my immeasurable fondness for this truly unique city. |

About Me I'm just a foodie/music and art lover/history buff trying to eat his way around the world. fortunate enough to be in a profession which requires me to travel - and sometimes live - all over the world.
I tend to recall my travels through the food I eat, wine I drink and everything in between. I long for the traditional meals prepared as they have been since the inception of the country at the same time searching for all the best kept secrets in town.
I'm new to VT and slowly getting the ball rolling with my pages so hang in there. I just got back from a trip to Paris so that's my priority right now. |
Architecture amazes me In my opinion architecture is the only art form which tangibly sustains life. From the simple homes to the ornate castles and cathedrals architecture captures the people and their history. |

A student of history A basic knowledge of the country's history heightens my experience. This history - the events which have led to the sights, sounds and smells around me - brings significance to my travels in explaining how everything came to be. Why is paella different in Madrid? If I were here 200 years ago, I would've witnessed a hanging? Why does soba vary from village to village in Japan? The French Revolution really began here? |

CHAMPY Tue Jun 2, 2009 11:10 UTC New Orleans, a city set up by french settlers on 1718. this one used to be french from 1718 up to 1803. Then under napoleon reign Louisiana was sold to USA. Then goes our last presence. Interesting HP you have William. Keep on doing... | mumymama Mon Mar 30, 2009 14:10 UTC Hi, William, I have seen your Toledo tip. I am going there in April. Shall I have problems with a large tripod and a camera at Atocha station? Or, should I better go by bus? Enjoy your day!
