I went jiri with three of my friends. Its a starting point for trekking. The place is quite small but really beautiful and green. View of Jiri from top looks very beautiful. There are small houses there built in swiss model and you can visit technical institute there.
When i was there luckly i could also enjoy nepalese festival called dewaali. It was intresting. Family members living far from home come back in that special day and they together share their joys and sorrow. In this particular day they also sacrifice goat to please god and goddesses.
Well, in short jiri is good to visit if you wanna see real nepal, looking for quite and green place and explore different society and culture there.
