Ourzazate city is not so interesting in my view, but beautiful things around.

Very interesting city, kind and nice peoples, with a lot of great things to visit (historical, religion, markets...). Think out of the box: I you make the effort to ask local peoples, they will certainly provide you some very good information's, out of the tradiational "circuit for tourists". Some "trésors" in the Medina.
French is fluent most of the time, english less (OK in Marrakech + tourism area's).
Be prepared to negotiate a lot: you'll be respected for that.
I was surprized by the high level of air pollution.
Marocan peoples are really excellent artists, which a hugh cultural and historical know how to share.

There are some interesting visits to do, where Atlas mountains start: nice valleys, typical Berberes small villages.

You can meet also the famous 4x4 wheels vehicle the most popular: the donkay (called "brel" by Berbères, which is a popular name for a motocycle in French)
