Young, full of energy, don't expect to be soft and relax in Kuala-Lumpur. The use the collective transports (mono-rail) is a good way to reduce the pbs related to sever traffic jams. There are cheap and safe. Walking/driving in KL could be a bad or dangerous experience if you're trying to apply western rules by default, crossing some roads is "so so". Make your own cultural alignement session! The "golden triangle" is the place to visit in KL.
DON'T PLAY WITH THE DRUG (Jalan Ramlee array), proposed by motorcycles driver. Penalty are very sever and could go to death. |
| | PETRONAS and KL TOWERS So nice (including comparison with our old french "Tour eiffel") and catching the sun light. Ralan Jamlee street, going to this towers, is the "top" hot spot of KL by night. KL tower is in the same arrray, with access possible through a small forest. |
| | BUKIT BINTANG AND CHINA TOWN Shoping, peoples. A lot of shop centers, massages, restaurants (bukit bintang) and hotels.
Shoping also in China Town (bags, ...) but : - the morning is quite OK - NEGOTIATE (40-50% discount) - Difficult to move the afternoon and discount not so easy. |
