Nightlife Spot: Voda
A vodka bar with every vodka imaginable in stock! It is really dark inside and somewhat small, but it's a really cool place to hang out at.

Dress Code: No jeans or tennis shoes (sneakers). 'Typical' LA evening attire.
Directions: 2nd street, right near the Broadway and 2nd intersection.

Nightlife Spot: Club 217
It's a small, dark club with a great selection of music. They have a little stage and a dance floor. It is just a very long, rectangular bar. They have couches on one side (unless you get there REALLY early, they're impossible to snag) and the long bar on the other side with a little walkway in the middle. Cover charge is usually about US$7-10.

Dress Code: Hollywood attire - nicer slacks and button-up shirts for men. Cute dresses/skirts/pants for women. Skimpier attire is perfectly acceptable. More cleavage the better!
Directions: On Broadway, right by 3rd Street Promenade.

Nightlife Spot: Viceroy
I guess the best way to describe it would be Skybar meets the ocean. The people who frequent this joint are comparable to those who frequent the Skybar in Hollywood. Elegant and simple decor. Very large space. Hard to get in on some nights.
